Wind and rain forecast for the next 24 hours. Will this encourage it to stick around, or might it whisk it away?

In area without access. :(

I still think I'm going tomorrow. In vain hope more than expectation. The Pipits would be superb compensation, however.

Not much hope of the Dix Pips with the forecast as it stands, but the Phal could have been feeding out on the spartina island so you may yet be lucky.

No sign of the Dix Pips or the Phal this morning yet in pretty crappy weather (from the warden).

I need to start taking days off work when good birds show up locally. I had the chance on Wednesday, but didn't. Now I regret it.

Yep I'm regretting not going over there yesterday afternoon when I had the chance.

Cancelling my WWT membership has a lot to do with it though. Don't fancy paying £8-9 each visit at the moment.

Pipits still there, but the WWT side say unable to arrange access due to flooding. :(
