Steiner Large Magnifications

Does anyone have any experience using the higher magnification Steiners.
e.g. 25x80 Observer or similar.
Fixed focus???
Eyepieces??

I had the 25x80 Observer several years ago. Nice IF bino given the ~US$500 price I paid on Amazon. Great for astronomy. Had a slightly yellow cast during the daylight. Sold them with some regret for a pair of Canon 15x50IS. I thought they were discontinued?
