Small black-headed birds, Guatemala (1 Viewer)

Many thanks ! Do you know why the birds featured in the Sibley Guide to Birds are lacking the black bib of the Guatemala ones ?

The subspecies of White-collared Seedeater that occurs in Texas (Sharpei), doesn't show much of a collar. The subspecies that occurs in Guatemala (Moreletti) has a strong, black collar and black and white plumage.
