Antwerp - Blokkersdijk
Hi, I'm going to Antwerp next week for a couple of days. I see there's a bird reserve in town - Blokkersdijk. Would it be worth me taking my binoculars and heading out there for a few hours?

Decide for yourself: http://waarnemingen.be/gebied/view/2...ng=en&local=be
It is a short ride from Antwerp Centre with bus 36, followed by a very simple 1 mile walk (see map). A pretty bad map of the area (with regards to legibility!) is here: http://www.natuurpuntwal.be/uploads/...jk/krtBLOK.gif There is one hide on the road; the other observation towers are on the opposite side. The dark green-striped areas are inaccessible. |

Thanks. I may not have time but if I can fit it in I'll head out there.
