Norwich Pied Wagtail Roost

Does anyone know if the Norwich City Centre Pied Wagtail roost is currently being used?

Thanks

Mark

Last winter about 100 birds were roosting on a ledge on Marks & Spencers, but I haven't really been that way in the evenings this year, will have a look tomorrow! I think that the main roost that used to be near the Guildhall moved to Thickthorn a few years ago.

There has been a Pied Wagtail roost in Wroxham/Hoveton in recent years; the 2007 NBR states 265 in January that year with 940 February and 240 March. The Norwich site, Rampant Horse Street, peaked at 163 January 25th 2007 although it seems this site was unoccupied at the end of the year. The roost tree at Hoveton had sadly been felled by November 15th. All in the name of progress no doubt...
