Francolin or Pheasant?
Would like to know what sort of bird this is. I'm thinking some kind of escaped Francolin?
Not my photos. Taken in Salem, OR. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/9065065/fullscreen

Pheasant. Back and tail feathers consistent with ring-necked pheasant. Not sure why it looks so sickly though.

A ratty juvenile, then? Maybe molting into adult plumage.
