Carnegie Natural History Museum

I went to the Carnegie Natural History museum in Pittsburgh and saw that they had about 7 California Condors that were stuffed I was kinda mad. Your thoughts?

Do you know when and how they were collected? Odds are they were either collected long before the conservation movement picked up speed, or are animals that died of natural causes while in captivity (and may have been part of the breeding program to bring up the population)
