Went out birding for 4 hours today... mostly trying to get good shots of Green-winged teals, which I did : ) I also got some awesome shots of an egret and pintails. I also spotted two birds I have never seen before. I will figure out what they were later (got some photos of them). All in all are great day, except I got sun burned, didn't even think about it being so cold.. it just snowed a few days ago, and it never snows here..
Sure could have used some nice binoculars to spot birds hiding in the trees. I missed one in plain sight because I was so focused on a beautiful egret standing right next to it. Didn't notice it until I got home and saw it in one of the photos.
