Advice needed for Leica 65 and Panasonic LX5 combo

I have a Leica 65 and a Leica Digital Adapter #5. And I just today bought the Panasonic LX5 (same as Leica D-lux 5.

The problem is I have never owned a digital camera before, nor have I ever digiscoped before

I know that you pull the retractable eyeguard all the way up and set the scope at 25x.

But beyond that I am having a little trouble figuring out what settings to use. I want to make it as simple as possible taking advantage of all the automatic options.

But would someone be so kind to tell me all the settings I should have it set on ?

Thanks

Dan Bogler
