this photo taken on my FZ45 hand held with digital zoom. Too close to crop and I wonder if it would be better to use lesser zoom and crop. Does anyone know the best settings for the FZ45. Thanks, Bill Last edited by BillF : Friday 6th April 2012 at 17:08. Reason: better photo |

I would have used less zoom to get the entire bird within the frame - no missing end of tail. Not sure of the settings on your camera, here is a good tutorial on camera settings for bird photography for Canon & Nikon users, so can be adaptedhttp://mikeatkinson.net/Tutorial-4-Camera-Settings.htm
