Hi Sue,

Sorry I didn't see your message earlier. Glad you found a way to download and view the videos from your Sony camera. If one has a Windows system (XP, Vista, 7) the software in the CD included with the camera will do the job after being installed. If one uses a Mac (my case) the latest version of IMovie can import and process the AVCHD video files, allowing one to edit them and prepare versions in other formats to see them in your computer, tv or upload to Birdforum or YouTube, etc.

How do these ''grab'' you? All taken from the Sony HX 100V..I tried to 'snap' the Golden-crowned Kinglets..but they were too fast..ended up deleting all my blurred shots!.. I thought this was a good compromise!..any comments?...

PS No sharpening has taken place, only Auto correction, and the Starling was the only one snapped by the camera.

cheers

Bachman's Sparrow videoed with the Sony Cybershot

Bachman's Sparrow, a denizen of pine savannas, is common in appropriate habitat but is hard to see due to its skulking habits. But during the breeding season it is possible to find a singing male staking out a territory by singing from an exposed perch. I recorded this video last Friday, o4/13/2012, in a protected area near Gainesville.
