Country Tracks 17/6/2012 Sunday 11.00am-12.00pm BBC1-***Wading Birds***
Hi there
I watched Country Tracks this morning, an it had an article about Kielder Forest, Northumberland National Park, and the local blanket bogs. I did not know that holes where blown in the bogs to produce wet areas for wading birds. The film was quite old - from 2002......so I am wondering if this is still bring done to support wading birds to this day? The article starts at 44.15 mins into the programme.
