Olympics Avoidance
Anyone fancy a trip somewhere during the Olympics? I'd like to get away from it all. I suppose there aren't that many places that are at their best in August but maybe Uganda or the Pantanal?

It could be a very astute move.. maybe some good deals on flights in the opposite direction to the Olympic tourists?
Unfortunately, like many, my leave is cancelled for the duration. Peter

I'm already going away to Zimbabwe. But the Pantanal would be great in August, best time to see Jaguars for a start. Here's a link to my trip report: http://www.kats-korner-uk.com/Brazil2.html

Sorry only just seen this, we have Doug MacDonald guiding us and we will be visiting Chitake Springs and Little Vundu in Mana pools. Hoping to have some amazing sightings, esp wild dogs..
