Why would you disagree with Cattle Tyrant? This species is supposed to have reddish eyes. I found it to be a common species in Caracas, especially at Parque del Este.

I had intended to get back to this thread later, but forgot:

I agree that Cattle Tyrant has red eyes. My problem with that id is the much thinner bill on the images I looked at in the gallery. However, flipping through the Restall guide of N SA I could not find a good alternative?

Cattle Tyrant for me. Cannot think of any other species. The red eye is normal to this species.

there something strange for me in the bird.
But i also cant found other species that fit.
So Cattle Tyrant it is.
