Finch? Lanzarote July 2012

Just got back from island and on first scan through pictures found this one I took of what I believe are lesser shorted toed larks. However the big fella at the top of the picture has got me wondering if I've got a trumpeter finch?
I hadn't realised when I took the shot how different he was as I was too busy just trying to keep the birds in frame.
I'd be grateful for any help.

Looks good for a trumpeter as well as lesser short toed.

Thanks guys, as I wasn't at the Rubicon plain so I hadn't even thought of maybe seeing trumpeter finches. This was by the side of the Golf course north of Puerto del
Carmen.

you can get trumpeters virtually anwhere on the island, I had them to the north of Puerto del Carmen, admittedly over 10 years ago.
