Hello. Does anyone have exPerience of the Canon Powershot G12 or the Nikon Coolpix 7100 for digiscoping?

Yes Paul. Due to their lenses they need a long eye relief eyepiece to have a hope of unvignetted views eg Kowa 25x LER Eyepiece.
They are both very good and I like having the rotatable screen with the G12 but I prefer the video of the P7000/7100. There are some threads on the G12 and the P7000 ( same lens as P7100). Neil. |

I don't have an LX5 but I understand it can digiscope. Have a look at the thread on it.
