Dowitcher in Michigan - LB or SB?
My first impression is LB due to straight bill and attenuated posterior with a dip. Plumage is in rough shape and I so would appreciate confirmation or any help with field marks seen,

Short-billed for me too. The black and gold upperparts and spotted breast sides amongst other features...
