Average Photographer with good gear. Still poor at bird I.D.

Hello from South Shields
Hi, just wanted to introduce my self to the forum. I am a newbie photographer who is trying to improve - probably faster than my talent will allow!
After photographing so many birds, I find that my interest in them is increasing and I am at the point now that I would like to know what I am photographing before returning home and looking it up. I work offshore in Gabon, West Africa on a 28/28 schedule so should have plenty time to maintain my two linked hobbies when home. I hope to bump into some of the North East of England members on my travels. Paul. |
