Alan Partridge

Anybody see the skit on Alan Partridge mid morning matters last night where he was referring to the RSPB as fundamentalist terrorists and asking an ex special forces soldier what would he do if Bill Oddie walked into a restaurant wearing a suicide explosive vest.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=qfLFxuttQbA

It starts about 3.40 into the clip. He is not everyones cup of tea but I thought it was very funny.

Ger.

Wish this was still on BBC not SLY. Suppose I will have to wait to fork out £20 for the DVD.

I've never found Steve Coogan particularly funny and least so in his Alan Partridge persona. Hence I found the clip remarkably unfunny, but all credit to the guy for taking on News International,

As I said he is not everyone's cup of tea but I still laugh everytime I think about it. I suppose its the mental image of a radicalised RSPB plus the little girl at the end on the verge of tears because of the muppet's.
