Fighting for Birds- Mark Avery

Just seen a review of "Fighting for birds" author Mark Avery on the BTO website. Enthusiastically received by both Chris Packham and Andy Clements (Director BTO). This must be essential reading for all British Birders, interested in conservation.
If the style is similar to Avery's colomns in Birdwatch and British Wildlife magazines it will be a stimulating read.
For me a "must buy"

I did indeed buy a signed copy at the Bird Fair.
This is a very important and stimulating book. I find myself re-examining my thoughts about the RSPB and being less sceptical about that organisation.
To quote Chris Packham writing on the back cover "it's a triumph, and if you have any real interest in the job of saving species and their habitats then it's a tremendously rewarding must read "
Absolutely true, I cannot recommend this book highly enough and its a page turner, full credit to Mark Avery.
Please read it!
