I'd probably lean towards worn adult Tree Pipit too but not easy from the photos!

Another for Tree Pipit. The bill is rather heavy and the streaking on the breast is noticably different in weight ( heavier ) to that on the flanks ( even in these photos ).

Cant see why it isnt just a Meadow Pipit? Very variable at this time of year.

Looking at all the photos the bill seems to have a pinkish cast. Or is that just my interpretatation? A pro-Tree Pipit feature if so...

The advanced Bird ID guide has very pink legs a strong pointer to tree pipit.
Macmillan says the most consistent field character difference is strong streaks on the flanks of Meadow and light on Tree.
Both say the base of lower mandible-pink on Tree, brownish on Meadow.
Take it from there,my computer can't make the photos clear enough for me to see apartfrom very pink legs, though in one or two it makes the base of the bill pink, but is that a trick of the lighting?I've seen Pectoral Sandpiper with yellow base to bill backlit in strong sun to show a pink base to bill
