Dusky Thrush or hybrid? Nov 8th 2016 Netherlands (1 Viewer)

Lovely Jane, thanks! The bird was a regular headache this morning, seen briefly and irregularly for just a few times between shortly after sunrise and about 10 AM after which it vanished from the earth, not even a claim since... Probably only about half of the people present connected (B :))

For anyone interested, the processed RAWs (rather than straight-out-of-camera JPGs) are now on https://www.dutchbirding.nl/gallery
Some (most) apparent anomalies aren't present on the processed pics. It was suggested to me to contact Paul French about the bird, who echoes your sentiments above that although a hybrid can probably never be ruled out, there doesn't seem anything wrong for a pure Dusky.

Thanks for all your input!
