Zeiss Conquest HD 10x32: opinions

Anyone have experience of using this bin? I'd be interested in how close their performance is to alpha models and how eye-friendly they are. Most reviews I've seen cover the 8x32s (I'm not interested in this format, have a couple already)

Thanks in advance

Sean

Hi Sean,

I wear eyeglasses so I can only tell you my experience with the 10x32 with glasses.
I only looked through this bin once at the store. The previous trip to the same store I tried
the 8x32 and found it quite nice with my glasses. Normally I prefer a larger exit pupil at least 5mm
for comfort with glasses. 4mm and smaller EP can become bothersome to me depending on the binocular.
Next time at the store I thought I'd try the 8x32 Conquest again and after looking through it I thought... still good.
Then I looked at the bin and noticed I was holding a 10x32 ... was so surprising the 10x32 was good with my glasses - better than a lot of other 32mm bins I tried. An Opticron 8x32 I tried in comparison was abysmal.

If you don't wear glasses then I'm afraid I can't offer any help.

There is a review of the Kowa 8X32 with a lot of comparisons to the Conquest. That might help you I went with the Kowa because even though the Conquest is well built the Kowa is slightly better And nobody handles CA better than the top Kowas They also have as much ncro-contrast as any I've looked thru.

Many thanks both. I think I'll have to get some hands-on experience
