Downy Woodpecker question.

Ok, the first pic is Saul, he is my resident Downy Woodpecker (ID'd here @ BF).
That being said, this new bird just arrived about 5 minutes ago. I noticed ABSOLUTELY NO red on this bird. Seen in pic #2. Is this a difference of male and female? If not why no red? Any info is greatly appreciated as I am extremely eager to learn.

Pic #3 is just a bonus, it is the redless downy woodpecker in flight.
EDIT: Pic #4 is to show bill size and yellow on bill, which is also on the one with the red.

Thanks a bunch.
-Drake.

Hi Drake: Roger on Janj, lack of red spot on female. Same with hairy females.
Don't kmow why but my female on feeds at sunflower feeder, while male only at suet.
