French Wood to become Landfill site.
Haven't posted anything useful for awhile, been back into one of my other hobbies.
On another Forum I've learnt that the wood shown in the photo is to become a landfill site. Story from Le Figaro. Sorry it's all in French. story here Further info on this Forum. HERE Apart from the historical aspect of losing the wood, what can be done from a conservation angle to halt the proposed land fill site? I'm sure the wood if full of wildlife that will be effected by the develpoment. Anyone have any experience of French Law regarding this type of problem?

If it was protected by EU law there would be a better chance of protecting it. Dont know about French law but one thing I would say is the best way to get something stopped like aland fill site is public opinion against it and all credit to the French when they want something chenged they will go to the streets about it.
