Hi all,

It looks like I might get a trip out to Head Office for a couple of days or so at the end of this month.

I've been once before, in the winter, and so I know that Sandefjord town looks out over Sandefjord Fjord.

Is there enough birding interest within walking distance of the Rica Park Hotel, to make it worthwhile packing my 'scope for the spare evening I will have?

Or should I just check out Norwegian telly?

OK... I guess Sandefjord is not one of the world's major birding destinations, but as I go out next Tuesday, and will have the evening spare, I'll give this one last chance!
