Short upper beak mutation ? (1 Viewer)

See attachments, both birds have a shorter upper mandibule. These don't seem to be broken, so it's probably some mutation. I've only found this reference, but it's not really up to date. Does anyone know the name and location of this mutation?

I'm even surprised to see that these wild birds reached maturity, as this must not help to catch food, although the robin was spotted near a feeder.

Birds idd as Black-headed Gull and Oriental Magpie-Robin.
