New field studies (2 Viewers)

I feel very flattered from your comments though great part of the praise belong to my modell. Considering to go back soon hoping to get a proper watercolour study..
Will see...

Marvellous stuff, as usual! It is an obliging model, but that doesn't take anything away from your field sketching skills - you must be among the greatest :)
I just recieved news that a Ural Owl AND a Great Grey are present by a small lake an hour south of Oslo. That has never before been recorded this far south in Norway, and my pencils have started itching... I've been a birdwatcher in Norway for 35 years, and still haven't seen any of the two in the wild.

Missed this latest work, all of a very high standard indeed. The roosting Tawny Owl is a bit special, an incredible piece of draftmanship Pascallis...

Thank you all for your encouraging response!
As already previously mentioned, I had in mind to go back to the Tawny hoping
to get a watercolour study..And I did it today!
The weather forecast was excellent, and I shouldn`t miss the chance..

you're a cruel man to show such excellent work where mere mortals can see it, envy is a sin and I was already a sinful person to begin with! This is just wonderful. Everything is just wonderful about it!

Have to agree with the young sage - to quote Bono "even better than the real thing". marvellous!!!!

Brilliant, Paschalis. I love how one eye is slightly more open than the other, Many of the Tengmalm's and Pygmy's I've ringed often open one eye at the time.
