I can not match this bird up to images in my book for the area. Seems like this should be an easy one and I have seen it before. Time for more coffee maybe?

This was taken in the back yard this morning in the north Phoenix, AZ area, evelvation 1,400 ft (427 meters), desert county.

Thanks.

Thank you! That is the one I was trying to remember. I came across one a while back at the local riparian but never had one out back until now. That bird sure was having a good time this morning jumping around between the branches. I thought they mainly went after insects so that was surprising that a hummingbird feeder was an attraction.

Thanks K C! :t: I hope the little warbler sticks around for a while.

Normally I just get my same old desert birds but every once in a while a surprise visitor shows up. It keeps me watching.
