Photo taken 6 February. My best guess is that this is a fledgling of some common species, possibly a Thorn-tailed Rayadito. Can anybody confirm or have a better suggestion? This is the only photo.

Thanks.

Perhaps this one was too hard, but there are really very few options at this location. On another forum, it was suggested that this bird is a fledgling House Wren. In the absence of any better suggestions I think that suggestions is likely correct.

I have seen this before, but this time I had time to slowly go through my Birds of Chile. One feature I find striking in this image is the steep front, something that are found in several tyrants that seem relevant. Try to see if you can find images of fledging Patagonian Tyrant or White-crested Elaenia (from the right area, avoid images of these from the north).

It does not strike me as similar to a wren.

I couldn't find a fledgling but here is a juvenile. Scroll down for image. I think it has much smaller feet and skinnier legs. Wrens typically have much bigger feet, more like this bird.
