but you would have better luck in Southern Missouri. See this and click BBC map, they really are not here as much as in Arkansas

If you look in all the books, it is only the SW corner, maybe 5% our state, where it is routinely found.

No, have not made the trip myself. The list servers have local sightings, but I have never seen Road Runner advertised for Missouri. It is one of those things like Pheasant that just comes up one day when you spend a lot of time.
