Hi guys.... Is this a Sabota Lark?
I also looked at Melodious Lark?

Tib.... You came to my rescue! Larks difficult for me, plus such bad photos but can I ask you one more time to look at these different pics???

Maybe it is Sabota? because of dark back and malar stripe. But fawn coloured is also a new bird for me so Thank you, as always, for your help.

You are right. It must be a Sabota because of the black malar you mentioned. I had forgotten the 2 species look so similar...I haven’t birded in the region for too long...
 
They have very slim bills for Sabota?

My Sasol 4th Edition Birds of S Africa says bill sizes vary alot but there are two forms
Large billed form in the drier West (aka Bradfield's Lark) and
Small billed race.

Then I looked in two photographic guides, one, where the Fawn coloured is very similar and in the other it is light sandy beige not with dark back.
