Hi there,

my wife and I we used to spend holidays birding independently in various places worldwide. Now that we are a small and happy family we are looking for travel destinations where we can bird in a child friendly way. That means not too long flights (10 h max from Central Europe), not too much driving, good birding opportunities / rich birdlife around the accommodation and surroundings to explore for our little yob.
Do you have any recommendations (countries, places)?

Cyprus end of March for 2 or 3 weeks.
Cape Greco is very good for bird watching.
Hiking ways are qúite short.
Akamas peninsula is also interesting, but much longer hike.
