Backup problem help please (1 Viewer)

I am running Windows 7 and Photoshop Elements 11. I started a first full back up of my photo catalogue of over 100gb to my external hard drive but part way through it stopped with the following error message and failed to produce the essential .tly file.

Error encountered while writing files. "c/programdata/adobe/elementsorganiser/catalogs/catalog1/breezedata/breeze-20985.xml[/I]"

Please can anyone help? as without the essential backup.tly file I cant do a subsequent incremental or restore

Sorry can't help directly but would suggest you run it by one of the Adobe tech forums or alternatively contact Adobe for help.

As Apus said, you could try a forum search. You may still be able to back using an external hard drive called clickfree.
