Last ID post for the week, I promise! |:x|

I'm afraid I'm still completely flummoxed when it comes to ID-ing waders so any help would be fantastic.

Photos 1,2,8 and the bird on the far right of 3 I'm guessing are redshank.
7 seems to be a snipe, and the rest have me at a loss!

Any help greatly appreciated.

Richard

Fantastic. Thanks Will. Could that be a greenshank also on the far right of #8? I think I probably added the last four photos after you replied.

Cheers.

Richard

The bird far right from pic 8 looks like a Greenshank indeed.
I would go with Ruffs for pic 5, Snipe for pic 6, Redshank in pic 8 (the far left bird), Dunlins in pic 9 (not sure about the bird in the background).

Do you mean pic 6 for Ruffs Cristian? Pic 5 is a Greenshank. I would favour 6 being Redshanks but it's not too clear a picture.

Ruffs in 6 for me - they are facing away, but the large bodied, small headed look fits Ruff better than Redshank. Winter birds can look rather plain at distance.
