Can anyone offer advice on where to view the Shorelarks. I've had a look at the map and there seems to be a public footpath from the church - is this the best way to head?

Yes follow that footpath just before the church, down to the beach which brings you out to Covehithe broad. I saw the Shorelarks at the southern end of the broad near the marram. Snow Buntings around 50-100m north along the shore around/on the cliffs.
