Sinensis and carbo cormorants in London (1 Viewer)

At my birding spots in London seemingly all the cormorants I see are of the race sinensis, every so often I get carbo types. But pretty much all look, to me, look like sinensis. Is this what others have noticed or is my id wrong?

Is there robust data about the actual distribution patterns of the races in Britain? Is there a decreasing prevalence of sinenesis as you move north in the country due to their continental home?

Do they mix or does one push the other out, do size differences lead to one out competing the other?

Sinensis is a description bird in Shetland, so yes the further north you go the less numerous they are.
They should be looking for 'norvegicus' up there!

But somehow, I smell a rat... ;)
