Great Harbour, Greenock, out on deck a while ago to investigate all the whistling, found 11 very vocal Black Guilemots "vigorously" displaying close alongship ship. All now in pristine breeding plumage, lovely to see and hear, others Red-throated Diver (was present 10/2 when we left) 6 Red-breasted Merganser, 9 Eiders, 1 Dabchick, 4-5 Shags several Curlew and Redshank.

Nice start to the day.

Good birding all

Thanks Quercus, no Porpoises in the harbour mate, here's a few pics taken a short while ago, the first could be titled (tongue in cheek) "Line Dancing" Tystie's
