Costa Rica, Carribian coast, bird which sounds like an annoying cat (1 Viewer)

Hello to everyone!

Ive just spent a month on the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica, and there was this one mysterious bird, who kept making this weird sound, and we never managed to find and ID it. Eventually we (think) found it and took a picture, I am uploading it to this message (that is the best shot that we had).
It is a brown bird, which makes a sound of a cat Meowing (like: Meaaaaawww;Meaaaaawww) I hope I do not sound too ridiculous.
