Digiscoped photos that don't quite work can be easily made into 'interesting' picture with a little 'edge preserving smooth'. I quite like this one...

Good rescue Chris - I just wonder if it would be even better with some of the head details 'painted' back on a layer mask (if using using PS!).

As to if it's art .... that's in the eye of the beholder...
