One day to bird in Salt Lake (1 Viewer)

So...I will have exactly one day to bird in the Salt Lake City area in mid-October. Can someone recommend the two or three must see places I can go to to make the most of my day? I have transportation and can drive to almost anywhere. I am from the Midwest, and have never been to Utah before, so the more different species the better.

Any help is appreciated!

You can't beat a trip up to Antelope Island. It's about 50 min. each way, but worth it.
