Could've been worse. Poor peking man was dealing with giant-skull crushing hyenas at the time!

How amazing great stuff. What really gets me with the giant stork and for that matter all large bulky birds is the overall size to weight ratio. A powerful animal standing well over five feet tall and weighs just over 35 pounds.
