Canon SX50HS Question (1 Viewer)

Well-known member
I took the advice offered to me on the SX40 Thread and am now the owner of an SX50.

I've been taking a few pics and getting to know the thing, but I wondered if anyone had any experience of the degree of weatherproofness or otherwise of this camera?

Bins and scope are not a problem in the rain, but I haven't used a camera in the field before. Any comments would be appreciated.

Take a transparent plastic bag with you, tape and elastic bands (gummi). It is a matter of seconds to shield the camera against light rain, and continue your "work". In pouring rain, I've preferred to go home.
