Seriously though - it's wonderful work, isn't it.

All very nice. I wish there was a better illustration of the one that sold though.

I took one course in brush painting over 30 years ago. The thing that amazed me is that the paper was so water absorbent that it almost seemed to leap up and grab the ink off the brush. Nothing wrong with that. Except that if you didn't move the brush with real speed and deftness you just ended up with blobs on the paper. It gave me a tremendous amount of respect for this type of painting.
