With only about 1 hour of free time in the middle of the day and another the following evening I was happy to score three firsts for myself: azure-winged mag, spotless starling and serin (whose crackeling song could be heard all over the city). Also saw many chiffchaff, a few blackcap, many yello-legged gull and "frosted" sanderling near the convention centre (there is a sewage outlet near Benin, from where Vasco de Gama set sail, that attracts many gulls).
