Any optical difference between the first and second version fixed eyepieces? (1 Viewer)

Is there any optical difference between the fixed eyepieces that just say "20x WW" on them versus the ones that say both "T77: 20x WW" and "T62: 16x"?

Hi,

yes, WW with Leica EPs stands for german Weitwinkel or wide angle, so you can expect a WW eyepiece to give a wider AFOV and TFOV as compared to one of similar magnification but without the WW designation.

I would prefer the wide one given the choice. All Leica fixed EPs are out of production and getting rare.
