the attached picture represents a single bird singing for an extended period in June 2016 near San Pere de Rodes, Catalunya

from the song i thought it was a song thrush, but i must admit that the plumage appears not to be very distinctive for ID purposes - can anyone help out ?

thanks for the replies - imagine having listened to a nightingale for the best part of 10 minutes and not realising it was a nightingale !
