Hi, all,
I am primarily a photographer, and generally find birds from my vehicle before exiting to photograph them. To help spot them (generally owls), I decided to purchase a spotting scope, which I will most times attach to the window of my vehicle. I bought an Alpen 788, which has great optics (given my limited experience) but seems way too big for easy use on the window. I'm wondering if someone could recommend a smaller angled scope in the same general price range (up to about $325) that would work for this purpose. I'd like to go up to 45x or 50x if possible.
Thanks much!
