Brown toned upperparts, not grey.
No supercilium (stripe above eye), just eyering and slight stripe in front of eye.
Stout bill, not fine.
Red on base on both upper and lower bill mandibles. (Spotshank has all black upper bill)
All around stouter, beefier bird. (Spotshank is a beautiful, elegant and delicate looking bird)

Conclusion: Common Redshank
