Blackbird or Ring Ouzel? - UK (1 Viewer)

Found this bird a week or so ago in a typical ring ouzel habitat but I am not sure whether it is a Ring Ouzel, or just an odd blackbird. Hopefully a pic is attached!

If someone could tell me which one it is I would be very grateful!

Hmm. I can't see the wings, which would clinch it, but I'm seeing a Blackbird with a white mark on its throat. It looks quite thick set.

Looks a little too brownish and not scaley = blackbird

BUT

Pale fringes to primaries = R. Ouzel.

I think on balance, it's more blackbird. The pale on the prims isn't strong enough for my liking and the whitish chest appears slightly too high.

Not as straight forward as I would expect.
